  Habitat Many habitats. Foodplant The catkins of sallows and poplars and later on herbaceous plants. Lifestage data Overwinters as an egg laid on twigs of the foodplant. Larva late March-early June, feeding inside catkins before they fall, then on herbaceous plants. Pupates underground. |
